A multi-specialty outpatient network was still re-keying laboratory results from faxed PDFs and phone snapshots. The pages did not share a layout, so the chart could not take them as they arrived.

Himcos deployed an OCR and computer-vision pipeline for those laboratory results. It classified lab panels, extracted numeric and text results, checked them against reference ranges, and mapped them into structured clinical fields.

Staff stopped working the transcription backlog by hand. A result that did not match a reference range stayed out of the chart until a person reviewed it.
