A logistics and supply chain company had been running software that once carried the operation and later could not keep pace. The data the company needed was late, and the old system spent its effort moving records that had not changed.

Himcos put change data capture in place on Azure SQL. The stream follows inserts, updates, and deletes instead of copying the whole database each time. Inventory, orders, shipping, and demand forecasting read from that stream.

The published result is stronger data insights for the logistics company.
